You are ushering in another day
untouched and freshly new,
so here I come to ask You God
if You'll renew me too?

Forgive the many errors, that
I made yesterday, and let me try
again dear God, to walk closer
in Thy Way.

But Father, I am well aware
I can't make it on my own.
So take my hand and hold it tight
for I can't walk alone.

Thank you Lord!

Morning Prayer

Please take a moment to relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on Christ. Allow God to be the only person on your mind while you read this prayer........ If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc., we should give the same respect to this prayer. Friends who pray together, stay together. Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example - to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly. This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

This the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24

Today is the day you made, O God. My heart rejoices in this day and the opportunities it holds for me to experience more of Your loving presence.

I open my spirit to You, and I give thanks for Your life that fills every cell of my body and life.

I open my eyes to You, and I give thanks for Your light that warms and brightens my day.

I open my heart to You, and I give thanks for Your life that fills me with compassion, understanding, and peace.

I open my soul to You, and I give thanks for Your presence in my life and in the lives of the people I hold dear.

Thank You, God, for all that You are and for the blessings that fill every moment of evey day.

Morning Offering.

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You all my prayers, works joys and sufferings this day, together with Your Divine Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world and in Particular for the intentions of our Holy Father. Amen.

Act of Faith

My God, I believe in You and all that You have taught, Because You have said it, and Your word is true.

Act of Hope

I hope in Your promise of eternal life and I ask for Your Mercy and strength this day.

Act of Charity

O my God, I love You with my whole heart and above all things, because You are infinitely good and perfect; and I love my neighbor as myself for love of You. Grant that I may love You more and more in this life, and in the next for all eternity.

Other Prayers

Merciful Jesus, I consecrate myself today and always to Your Most Sacred Heart. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus I implore, that I may ever love You more and more. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You! Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Your love for me. Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like Your heart.

The Morning Place

The gates of morning open, And there at break of day I hear my Fellow Members Inviting me to pray. Amid the cares before me I kneel with quite heart, To let His peaceful presence A Blessing sweet impart. And through the days that follows I find God everywhere, Because I stopped to seek Him In the morning place of prayer.

With God

Begin the day with God: Kneel down to Him in prayer; Lift up thy heart to His abode, And seek His love to share. Open the book of God: And read a portion there. That it might hallow all thy thoughts And sweeten all they care. Go through the day with God: Whatever thy work may be, Wherever thou art- at home or not He still is near to thee.
